Getting Started with MintCraft

Date: 2025-01-12 Audience: First-time users, non-technical token creators Reading Time: 5 minutes

Welcome to MintCraft!

MintCraft is the easiest way to create professional tokens on Solana with built-in features like reflections, jackpot lotteries, and automatic liquidity management—all without writing a single line of code.

What Makes MintCraft Different?

Token-2022 Standard

MintCraft uses Solana's latest Token-2022 standard, which includes:

  • Built-in transfer fees (collect taxes automatically)
  • On-chain metadata (your token info stored permanently)
  • Future-proof design (ready for upcoming Solana features)

Automated Everything

Set it and forget it:

  • Reflections: Reward holders automatically every hour
  • Jackpot Lottery: Random winner selection with provable fairness
  • Auto-LP: Permanent liquidity that can't be rug-pulled
  • Deflationary Burn: Reduce supply automatically to increase value

Trustless & Secure

  • Your tokens, your control—we never hold your funds
  • Program-controlled treasuries (not team wallets)
  • Open source and auditable
  • All transactions visible on Solana Explorer

What You'll Need

1. A Solana Wallet

Supported Wallets:

  • ✅ Phantom (recommended for beginners)
  • ✅ Solflare
  • ✅ Backpack
  • ✅ Any Solana Wallet Adapter compatible wallet

Don't have one?

  • Download Phantom: https://phantom.app
  • Create a new wallet (save your seed phrase securely!)
  • Follow their setup guide

2. SOL for Fees

How much do you need?

  • Testing (Devnet): FREE! Get devnet SOL from faucets
  • Production (Mainnet): ~0.26 SOL (~$20 USD)
    • Platform fee: 0.25 SOL
    • Network fees: 0.01 SOL

Where to get SOL:

  • Buy from exchanges (Coinbase, Binance, etc.)
  • Swap other crypto on Jupiter
  • Transfer from another wallet
  • Format: PNG, JPG, or GIF
  • Size: 512x512 pixels recommended
  • Max file size: 5MB
  • Tip: Square images work best

Quick Start (5 Steps)

Step 1: Connect Your Wallet

  1. Visit app.mintcraft.co
  2. Click "Connect Wallet" in the top right
  3. Select your wallet provider (e.g., Phantom)
  4. Approve the connection in your wallet popup

Step 2: Choose Network

Two options:

🧪 Devnet (Testing)

  • Use for: Testing before mainnet launch
  • Cost: FREE (use faucet SOL)
  • Best for: First-time creators, experimenting

Get Devnet SOL:

🚀 Mainnet (Production)

  • Use for: Real token launches
  • Cost: ~0.26 SOL
  • Best for: Production tokens with real value

⚠️ Always test on devnet first!

Step 3: Fill Out Token Details

Basic Information:

Token Name: Bitty Token
Symbol: BITTY
